Sleeping 4-6 comfortably and has every amenity you'll need to enjoy all the island has to offer. The Surf Shack has one bedroom with a queen bed and an open adjoining bunk room with 2 twin mattress bunk bed perfect for couples or families. The living room has a queen pull out sofa bed. One free off street parking driveway at the front of the property.

Good to know

Located just steps to the Galveston Seawall and Pleasure Pier! There are restaurants very nearby and tons of fun beach rentals nearby. This historical home is one block to the Seawall and allows you to walk and enjoy the heart of Galveston and the beautiful water so close by! Recently added new living room furniture as well as fresh towels and linens for your best experience! An interior laundry room and one-car off-street driveway make this super convenient! **We kindly request that you take a moment to review our house rules and acknowledge your agreement with them. House Rules

The back neighbor is a very nice man who lives by himself. When I stay at the Surf Shack I try to remember to shut off the porch lights and patio lights as a courtesy, please try to remember and do this as well. Also, I have a garden hose by the gate into the side yard for easy rinse down from the beach or a day of fishing! By booking this reservation, you agree to the additional policies, terms, and conditions below: Must sign the rental agreement upon booking and provide required information: A $300 off-platform security hold will be placed on file at the time of booking. The credit card security hold will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure All names, contact phone numbers, vehicle information and valid drivers licenses must be provided for all guests over 18, within 72 hours of reservation acceptance, or 48 hours prior to check-in. Please send the following: Picture of front of drivers license for all guests over 18 - texting it in reservation app as a photo attachment is okay Name of each guest Phone number Email address Car color, make and license plate number for all cars DOGS - The property allows 2 dogs over one year old. Guests MUST register dogs and pay an additional fee within 2 days (48 hours) after confirming and paying for reservation. Guests must provide a copy of current vaccine records. Fees are $100 per dog up to 2 dogs maximum. ****Dog(s) must NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED in property (STRICTLY ENFORCED)*** If your pup is crate trained and can rest quietly, you may bring your crate and leave them for a short dinner outing. We have great neighbors and want to keep noise down at all times to respect their peace. Responsible dog owners help us keep our properties dog friendly for you to enjoy! Be sure to pick up after your dog, any evidence of not picking up after your dogs' waste will result in loss of security deposit.   AGE REQUIREMENT - All reserving guests must be 25 years or older. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by parents or an adult over 25. Infants count towards the total number of guests. Additional unregistered guests will result in the entire party being asked to leave and Renter will lose entire reservation charges and security deposit as well as a $100 fine per unregistered guest per day. Cancellation policies are found on your reserving platform (AirBNB, VRBO, etc.) DAMAGE - We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should anything break (large or small) please let us know immediately - you have a damage protection plan that comes with your rental. Guest is liable for any and all damage to the physical property and contents or loss/missing property(items) and agrees to charges against security deposit for said damages and missing property and any additional costs exceeding security deposit as well. We take great care of our properties for our guests, and we appreciate your cooperation in letting us know right away if any issue arises – we want to correct it for you quickly and make sure you’re still enjoying a 5-star stay. PROPERTY CARE - We want you to have a fun time during your visit! However, caring for someone's property is important to all of us. If the property is left in excessive dirty condition, there will be a deduction from your security deposit to cover the extra time and cleaning needed. Our cleaners are vacation market specialists so they are accustomed to ordinary check out conditions, however they will notify us regarding an excessively messy and dirty property after guest check outs, so we want you to be aware of the possibility of any additional fees. No shoes or sandy paws in the house No parties or events allowed. Any parties will result in a$500 fine and additional loss of your security deposit No smoking, vaping or tobacco allowed anywhere upstairs on the property, inside or outside. Please limit smoking and vaping to the ground floor patio, outside only and please clean up all subsequent trash. Any evidence found of smoking, vaping or tobacco upstairs on premises will incur a $500 fine and additional loss of your security deposit No eating or drinking in bedrooms Suitable for toddlers and children under 12. ***We have stairs, please take extra care with children!*** No unregistered guests or pets are allowed and will result in $500 fine and additional loss of your security deposit Please respect the noise curfew (10pm to 8am) Please respect check-in and check-out times Please take extra care of your house keys. Each lost key incurs a $50 replacement fee Please take care of the furnishings. You will have to pay for damages that exceed security deposit. Please don't sit on furniture with wet clothes/swim suits Please don’t rearrange the furniture Please do your dishes Please keep all trash in bags (extra bags are in laundry room) and please take the trash out before you leave No illegal substances allowed on the premises and will result in $500 fine and additional loss of security deposit Thank you for taking excellent care of this wonderful property!
